            Setting up the Stacked Section Adviser Plugin

            ATTENTION WEBSITE HOSTING PARTNERS

            You do NOT need access to the client's Adviserly Admin Console to obtain the plugin code.

            Copy the code block from this article and set the APP_ID manually. Follow the rest of the instructions below

            The "Stacked Section Adviser Plugin" is designed to display a scroll-able horizontal list of Advisers as a full section of a web page. The plugin brings your professionals into the online experience, engaging your visitors and enhancing your website with the power of personal connection.

            1. This plugin loads asynchronously, meaning independently of the web-page. Page load time will not be impacted negatively

            Enabling the Plugin

            As of the time of writing (Apr 8, 2019), by default this plugin is enabled and available for all accounts on all pricing plans.

            Deciding where the plugin will render on your website

            First determine where on your web-page you would like the plugin to render. For example, in the image below there are four sections in view. We would like the plugin to be placed between sections  and

            Note:

            1. The plugin will draw to a 100% width of its containing element

            Get the Plugin Code

            1. Sign in to your Adviserly account
            2. Click Team Sites in the top bar

            1. Click the Team Site link of the team you are working with

            1. Click Plugins in the left navigation menu

            1. Copy the HTML/Script block to your clipboard

            Note:
            1. Alternatively, if you do not have access to your Admin Console, you may copy the HTML/Script block below. This code however does NOT have the appId automatically set and must be set manually.
            2. The appId is the domain name without any TLD designation. In other words, only this portion of the domain  yourdomain.com
            3. Place the appId in the HTML/Script block where it says "place_appId_here"

            1. <div id='adviserly-plugin-adviser-list'></div>
            2. <script type="text/javascript">
            3.     var AdviserlyPluginConfig = {
            4.         'appId': 'place_appId_here'
            5.     };
            6.     (function (doc, script, js, fjs) {
            7.         js = doc.createElement(script);
            8.         js.src = 'https://sdk.adviserly.com/plugins/plugins.min.js';
            9.         fjs = doc.getElementsByTagName(script)[0];
            10.         fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
            11.         js.onload = js.onreadystatechange = function () {
            12.             var rs = this.readyState;
            13.             if (rs && rs != 'complete' && rs != 'loaded') return;
            14.             window.setTimeout(function () {
            15.                 try { Adviserly.Plugins.load(AdviserlyPluginConfig); } catch (e) { }
            16.             }, 100);
            17.         };
            18.     }(document, 'script'));
            19. </script>

            Implement the Plugin Code in Your Website

            1. With the plugin code now copied to your clipboard, you're ready to paste it into your web-page.
            2. In the source code, locate the sections where you would like the plugin to render
            3. Paste the HTML/Script block in between the sections

            1. Save and publish your web-page
            2. View the web-page in the browser (refresh if needed) to see the plugin
            NOTE:

            1. Plugin security limits it to rendering on web-pages matching the appId (or domain) with an active account. If you are working with a development URL, please contact your account manager to have the development URL added to your account.

            The Stacked Section Adviser Plugin should now be operating on your webpage
